Association Vitrail et Imagiers Verriers is excited to announce our upcoming workshop, “Stained Glass Basics for Beginners.” This hands-on workshop is designed to introduce participants to the fundamental techniques of stained glass art, from cutting and shaping glass to soldering and finishing. No prior experience is necessary – just a passion for creativity and a willingness to learn.
The workshop will be held over two days, November 18th and 19th, at our studio in Bouc-Bel-Air. Participants will learn how to select appropriate glass, create a design, cut and grind glass pieces, assemble the panel using lead came, solder the joints, and apply a finishing patina. All materials and tools will be provided, and our experienced instructors will guide you through each step of the process. By the end of the workshop, you will have created your own small stained glass panel to take home and cherish.
